Trying to predict an Auburn football season is like trying to predict the weather in East, TN.

Not to mention A&M. Not a lot of gimme's early. 3 of the first 4 are at home, but they are tough.

Exactly. Its a very dangerous schedule. You drop some early games and the team gives up... you are staring at a miserable season. Auburn and Tennessee are sort of joined at the hip here. They both have to survive an early storm if they hope to achieve their goals.

I see a more even game throughout than that one. If the game was in Auburn I would just flip the scores. Same with UGA.

Agree - except Tennessee gets to finish with Missouri, Vandy and Kentucky while Auburn finishes with Arkansas, Ole Miss, Georgia Alabama.

What happens if JJ lives up to the 2015 pre-season hype, this year?

that sounds crazy so it's probably going to happen.

7-5

I think they lose to Clemson, LSU, Georgia, and Alabama... plus one more (probably OM if I had to pick one).

However, if they are to pull an upset this year, I think its Week 1 against Clemson. Clemson replaces a lot on defense, and Auburn can be a tough place to play. I think they get Clemson at the right time at least. I think Clemson still wins, but would not shock me to see Auburn pull the upset.

I think the difference for Tennessee is that our schedule is always frontloaded and has been as long as I can remember. However, this season's front end slate is the easiest we've had in a loooong time. Playing V. Tech this year beats the hell out of playing Oregon and OU at their respective primes and while your own team sucks. In SEC play we've finally got a roster worth a shite while there's some uncertainty with others that we may be able to capitalize on.

That is the sort of closing stretch that could get a coach fired. A bad start to the season with those four at the home stretch... a decent Auburn could very well lose all of those games and still be a fairly solid team.

I think they need to enter the back half of the season with some momentum to survive that group.

Ceiling is 7-5 maybe 8-4. L's to Clemson/LSU/Arky/Bama......UGA a toss up

Got to hand it to them opening up against Clempsun though. Pretty bold even though this game was scheduled probably 2-3 years ago.

Imagine being a fan of a school where you know you will probably be slightly better than average at best. If LSU had these predictions, our fans would lynch Miles in the Quad.

Either way, best of luck to you Aubbie

No expectations, unranked, new DC, and juco QB, sounds like a National Championship run to me.
