No, but your statement seemed to imply you already had a breadth of incoming talent.

Are you just presuming he'll have top ranked recruiting classes at LSU (I'm presuming you feel he'll have you recruiting at a higher tier than Kelly did)?

He’s the best coach in college football today and the absolute best at developing a QB and putting him position to play winning football.

LSU will be the team to beat in two years and possibly next year because he isn’t lacking talent and I’m sure some kids from ole Miss will be headed to BR once their season is over!!

If he actually keeps Baker, the SEC will experience the dark ages

I think this is likely, I mean it’s Kiffin.

One thing is certain, he’ll get better classes than he did at Ole Miss.

Recruiting wasn’t as much Kelly’s problem so much as hiring assistants & evaluating talent. Preceding the worst statistical offensive year in school history, Kelly publicly claimed he believed we had a championship OL

That is true, but that was many years ago. I'm only speaking to the current environment.

It's the same environment.

It's why I think school job rankings are stupid. Every coach has their own opinions and the list will change from coach to coach.

Spurrier also turned down Alabama to coach at South Carolina for example. Does that mean South Carolina is the better program or did it just better meet with what Spurrier wanted at the time?

ESPN is rotting peoples brains.

You keep saying this and you cannot possibly be serious. He's not even the best coach in the SEC.

Don't your fellow bama fans want this? Why is everyone being a bunch of wimps?

I don't give a crap about LSU in general.

I think it's more likely LSU returns to their 90s and early form. And personally I thought that was great.

Why would I not presume that

He just took a D2 QB and installed him after his starter got hurt and Ole Miss got better.

Out of curiosity I looked into Ole Miss' schedule this year

3 cupcake auto wins

Washington state, a small step above a cupcake auto win but Lane almost choked against them because he was clearly preparing for Georgia for that week and not Washington state

Ended up losing to Georgia despite almost punting the Wazzu game preparing for them

Beat OU, good win but highly flawed team

4 of their SEC wins fired their coaches this year and South Carolina has flirted with the idea a bit

And then you have Mississippi State.

More underwhelming that I expected honestly.

What stat or accomplishment makes you think this is true?

Because I don't see where he is any of those things.

Because LSU's not the only ones that upgraded their coach.

Auburn, Arkansas, and Florida all gained pretty significant upgrades at their HC position.

Kelly was always recruiting well; as someone else pointed out, talent evaluation and coordinators were his his issue.

Will recruiting improve under Kiffin? Or at least talent evaluation? That's the question.

You're just another school on our schedule and you aren't even going to be on it every year in the future.

I grew up with LSU being an easy win to listen to on the radio while dove hunting.

Have you heard about Kelly’s recruiting techniques?

Just like with BK. (I do acknowledge Lane coaches circles around Kelly).

LSU's 12th, so I'm guessing the expectation is to flip a lot of kids? Not a lot left of uncommitted players left.

At 12 because only 16 in class, Kelly was on his way out and adding recruits stopped.

Per On3, average recruit rating is number 2 behind Oregon and several spots ahead of Bama.

Yeah, the SEC may have crapped in their nest not making this a regular pairing.
