RIP coach. It was a blessing to have him in the conference and much like his life, his stay was much too short.

College football just got a lot less interesting. Sorry for our State folks; you lost a good one and the game is less vibrant because of his passing.

Agreed we are all Bulldogs today….RIP Coach Leach….a true pioneer for college football and Mississippi St….he will be greatly missed.

My pops always used to say he’d like to have a beer with Leach cause he was such an eccentric personality in interviews…..I hope Coach can find the time to indulge in one of with him in heaven sometime soon.

This one hurts for sure. Can’t ever replace a guy like Leach.

He was a good coach; a unique character and often very funny to listen to. I will miss his press conferences. Our conference lost a good one. My heart goes out to his family and the Miss St. nation.

Prayers for his family. He certainly leaves a void and will be missed. CFB won’t be the same without his football mind and pirate personality. Hail State!

Agree, totally. Life is too fragile and too short. All of sports lost a really good one in Leach.

Have some down time with work and spent much of the morning watching old interviews and reading stories about the pirate.

The fake offensive script story that fooled Texas is absolutely legendary.
