Yes, that's it. It's not like he's got any experience coaching against that style or anything.

Ummmmmmmm, we've used the hurry up periodically since Les has been here. We did it a lot last year.

Anything that involves miles opinion on time is irrelevant to any actual discussion of timing.

I always wondered why Saban and Bielema never mentioned this in their menstruations about the hurry up offense

Because they think its more fair to wait until the offense is out on the field, then make substitutions based on that. it's like when you madden or NCAA in the past(sorry haven't played for years) and you would look and see the other three plays for the other guy and call accordingly

Looked more like the typical Les Miles' Hurry UP and Get Off the Field offense.

Don't worry about him, he's just mad because their former football coach used Arkansas as a stepping stone to Western Kentucky.

Man, you're a fricking laugh riot. I guess you have to use jokes to ease the pain of being an Arkansas fan.

He said there in NO advantage to a hurry up since the offense is doing just as much work as the defense

I seriously doubt Les Miles said this because it's the most uneducated football sentence I've read in a long time.

The defense ALWAYS does more work than the offense because they don't know where each play is going. They have to go harder and pursue faster to make up for the disadvantage of not knowing what the offense is doing until it's being done. Additionally, the primary reason for running a no huddle is confusing and tiring the front seven. This is significant because the defensive front seven will always tire much more quickly than an offensive line, who can then push them around more easily. There is far more aerobic work on a play to play basis for a front seven defender than an offensive lineman.

I'd rather that than Arkansas' Get Off the Field defense against Louisiana-Monroe.

You are new here, but the fact it is an "uneducated football sentence" makes it more believable to have come from Miles than not.

Just about verbatim from his radio row interview.

Tell me it isn't true.

Miles has problems communicating clearly when a microphone/TV camera is in front of him, most of the time you can decipher his thought process/what he meant to say, but often times it comes out all wrong from thought to speech.
