That still doesn't prove anything. Just because you go to LSU or any other school doesn't mean you know anymore than other students at that school. Now if you were an equipment manager, graduate assistant, or an actual player then that would mean a lot more. I guess if your close friends with some of the players that would count to.
Question: Did you go to the press conference today?

Answer: It was on radio and closed circuit and readily available.

NCAA makes that call on repeat offenders, not Miles.
School/team policies focus on street drugs. This was hashed out last season during the fake weed scandal.

not really. university policy probably tied his hands on this.
LSU has a Zero tolerance for drugs.....having said this, Miles may not have been the actual person kicking TM7 off the team but I can damn sure bet you he agreed with the decision.
I know the policies continue to get harsher and harsher but athletes will get a little more leway than a typical student will....too bad TM7 wasn't smarter.

He's not a college football coach, but someone else that would of done that, is Anthony Grant.
This is not the news I or any other LSU fans wanted today, but I will trust Les. He knows what is best for his team. At least this shouldn't set us back 3 years like RP did.

Actual story on Tyrann Mathieu, he was kicked out of school. Les Miles didn't actually dismiss him from the team. via various sources #LSU
If true Les Miles made the only decision he could. No big balls for you auss??

This is what separates Les from the rest. He always does what's best for the school not the team. Tough call, I hate it but props to Les.

ha, no the NCAA can only make a call if it is issued NCAA drug test, if its LSU, LSU makes the call and that is what happened here.

What did Muschamp do? Kick of Jenkins who had at least 4 violations in 2 years at Florida and was arrested multiple times. Muschamp really runs a tight ship!

Athletic Director Joe Alleva said Mathieu, who was suspended for a game in 2011 for failing a drug test, violated an athletic department rule and his scholarship was revoked.
Mathieu could stay at the school and pay tuition, but Alleva said that was unrealistic.
"He's not going to stay in school," Alleva said.

Had nothing really to do with Miles.

Correct,
Testing is done by both the NCAA and the school and they both test for everything.
With the NCAA, they test at random, usualy in the summer, and during championships or playoffs. If you fail a NCAA test for the first time, it's a year off, second time for PED's, you're done, rec drugs, another year.
School test are strictly done by the school and not forced to report back to the NCAA. Although, a school must have a drug policy and adhere to it, otherwise will face punishment. Which seems hard as they are not forced to give up drug test results

You think Les chose to dismiss one of his best players? He did what he had to do..
