No but he was a 5 star recruit and top 15 recruit nationally, and he was drafted in the 5th round. Didn't say he was terrible, just didn't live up to his potential. And he really didn't do much at all until his senior season.

Hey man be fair. They proclaimed him to be the next Anthony "Freak" Johnson, and he was.

Neither amounted to much.

O'Neal didn't play against LSU

I don't think any Aggie showed up to play LSU

Did some additional digging here, for context.

If we removed the LSU game from Aggy's stats (it's not really fair to judge a middle-tier team against tGOAT SEC offense), Texas A&M's defense allowed more yards per play when Leon WAS NOT on the field.

How in the hell did you come up with that stat? I'd like to see some sort of data proof.

Daylon Mack was the only A&M defensive tackle drafted this past decade and the first one since Red Bryant.

cool, he still didn't live up to the expectations he had coming out of high school. That's a really pathetic stat, though, if true

I think there has only been one nose tackle recently that truly dominated games by himself and that was Ndamakong Suh. Mack's potential was based on the expectation that he would grow taller and his arms would grow longer. This didn't happen.

There have been nose tackles drafted higher than the 5th round.

The scouting report on him was he was arguably the most NFL ready DL coming out of high school in his class. No one expected a guy that weighed over 300 pounds and built to get bigger in college. they expected his raw athleticism to develop him into a dominate defensive tackle, but he never did.

Again, I never said he sucked. I said he didn't live up to expectations as A&M's #1 recruit in 2015 because he didn't.

Ricky Seals-Jones wasn't drafted and he was A&M's #1 player in the 2013 class. I didn't list him however because he was a solid contributor when he played for the Aggies.

Trey Williams wasn't drafted and he was A&M's #1 player in the 2012 class. He was a solid contributor though.

The ones I listed either didn't play or hardly contributed at all.

Seals-Jones is also seeing snaps in the NFL and having a little bit of success.

Alabama- No more injury prone Tua
Auburn- Bo Nix is no longer a true fresh.
LSU- Ed O finally has LSU running a modern offense that dropped 50 on TAMU
Ole Miss- Lane Train with more seasoned QB
MSU- Leach is going to be slangin' the rock over the fricking field.

Arkansas- Ok, lololololol

Good transfer out of TAMU.
