Wasnt he playing with a torn shoulder?
yes

KJ and Pettway came into the game injured (Pettway didn't play). And Cox and Truitt both suffered injuries early in the game.

And AU would have won if White didn't throw a pick 6 from his own 25 yd line.

That Bauta performance isn't even close to being all time bad, not even at UGA. Q-Carter takes that honor. And jeebus games in Columbia ain't y'alls friend.

1. Quincy Carter @ USC (2000):10/24 (42%), 108 yds, 0 TD/5 INT, 37.8 QB Rating

2. Jacob Eason @ USC (2016) : 5/17 (29%), 29 yds, 1 TD/1 INT, 51.4 QB Rating

3. Aaron Murray @ USC (2012) : 11/31 (36%), 109 yds, 0 TD/1 INT, 58.6 QB Rating

4. Joe Cox @ Ole Miss (2006) : 4/10 (40%), 24 yds, 0 TD/1 INT, 60.2 QB Rating

Sean was injured and didnt tell them. He was terrible and unfortunately, the only thing behind him was JF3.

Our defense kept UGA from scoring a offensive TD and we still lost

Yep. Sean's shoulder was hurt and he couldn't throw it ten yards down the field. That was an ugly one.

IIRC, this wasn't on Gus. Sean was hurt but he kept telling the coaching staff that he was okay. They finally pulled him once it was obvious that he had a serious arm injury.

Jennings was horribly bad. I still wake up screaming at the top of my lungs thinking about that Alabama game in 2014. We had no passing game what so ever. We almost won that sucker too.

Michael Henig against LSU in 2007 comes to mind, he threw 6 picks, he had to be oh so close to making this list

Just plugged Henig's performance against LSU:

11/28, 120 yards, 0 TD, 6 INT

32.43 QB Rating

SO CLOSE

How is Nate Peterman not on this list? His game against Florida had to be a minus QB rating.

My bad. Your QB Rating is the QB efficiency rating. I thought it was QBR.

I remember the Quincy game. UGA was 17 point favorites. I told a gambler to give the points and bet the mortgage (South Carolina was winless in their prior 18 SEC games).

If we just punted 5 times on the drives with INTs, we win that game.

I don’t know how Henig survived that game tbh

Mike Henig was 11-28-6 against LSU in 2007. Completion percentage was higher than most of these but still surprised it didn’t make the list.

Yep that was one of the worst QB performances ever. It was also one of the closet 45-0 games I have ever attended.
It was 3-0 until the last play of the first half when LSU scored to take 10-0 lead. Game actually stayed close until they blew it open in the 4th Quarter with 28 points. Because of the TO’s , LSU did not have a lengthy drive all night and State actually out gained LSU in yardage.

One of the most bizarre games I have ever watched in person. I remember walking out of the stadium thinking we have a good team this year (this was the first game of the season) and that the TO’s skewed how close the game really was.

I was proven correct later as the team ended up 8-5 with a bowl win and included wins over Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and Ole Miss.
