Coach strikes me as a person that was going to live the way he wanted to live, not how a doc wanted him to live.
This is what I suspect as well. He may have known many things about his current health and genetics but he was the type to have his chili cheese dog however he wanted it regardless of that knowledge. It sucks now for the rest of us but he lived life on his terms, as most pirates have historically been guilty of. I don't think any of this should be surprising.

Nobody is “losing their minds”. Most just don’t want to hear the agenda-pushing bullshite and it’s easy to spot from a mile away.

Why are people losing their minds over what he said? He only said no one knows the cause or if it was vaccine-related.

It’s pretty obvious why and completely sad but expected from those type of people.

So he laid it out like this:
In this corner, we have a good hundred or so possibilities of what led to CML's death.
And in this corner, we've got "the vaccine".
And you don't see what he's doing, you say?

We don't know why you are the way you are. It could be because of many reasons.
It could be because you suck a dick until the swelling goes down.
Or it could be something else.
But it could be because you suck a dick until the swelling goes down.

people rushing in to blame “the vax” in the first 2 pages of the original thread is beyond disgusting and indicative of the average intellect of anti vaccine fanatics.

Even if it's 1 in 1,000 chance, I want to share.
In Nov 2017 (age 53) I had persistent cough & breathing problems.
My Doc diagnosed me with pneumonia, but as weeks became 3 months, I wasn't improving. Some days I breathed so heavily people in elevator asked if I was okay.
Doc finally ordered an echo. It turned out I instead had a ruptured mitral valve & had immediate major surgery. Surgeon said I was lucky to be alive.
Again, likely not what Coach Leach had, but I'd feel guilty if I didn't share my story

I have plenty of questions. One is wondering what his doctors, or even a GP told him about getting a work up done on his cardiac health. Did he put off getting necessary checkups done? What did Leach know about his health?
It really depends on what type of cardiac event he had and what the cause was. A lot of times when someone has what's sometimes called a widowmaker (obvious reasons there) there's not a ton that could've been done *unless* the person is super aware (say their dad died at age 35 from a heart attack and their dad before them) of their risk and stays on top of it before it happens.
Widowmakers run in families. IOW, if there's a history of men (or women) in your family dropping dead relatively young of a heart attack then you really, really, need to take your heart health seriously because you're at risk of a widowmaker type heart attack and most people only start taking their heart health seriously AFTER they have their first heart scare.
The pneumonia could've weakened his heart making him more vulnerable but again a lot depends on the type of heart attack he had or the extent of damage done. IOW, it's possible he had a 'milder' heart attack but the delay in getting oxygen circulating to his brain left him brain dead and basically killed him. In that case he might've survived had there not been a delay in pumping oxygen through him but there's also a chance that whatever event he had did too much damage for him to survive and that even had someone done CPR on him from the moment it happened that the damage caused by the heart attack was just too much.

I don’t know. But I do hope the other hilarious, wise, and valuable men out there who watched this take place slowly and surely (it did) will make an effort to lose their belly fat and monitor their health. Chili cheese dogs didn’t make Mike Leach. They might’ve made him die too early.

Because many of us know what is essentially a motte-and-bailey fallacy when we see it.

My dad died last year of congenital heart failure. He went in the hospital several times to get his lungs pumped out so he could breath. Fluid in the lungs is definitely a symptom of heart problems but at 61? Just damn

Who is to say he wasn't fully aware of an underlying serious condition that he was indeed being treated for, and still died? Why do people assume this was something he and his family simply ignored or were unaware of?
This.

Doesn’t change the fact he’s gone. At this point everyone that’s going to get the jab has and there is no resending that choice.

That’s how my heart issues were discovered, a persistent cough that wouldn’t go away.
I have a friend who this happened to. Had a bad cough that wouldn't go away. He thought he had covid or something so he went to the urgent care to see what was up
They ran some tests, took xrays, etc... Came back and told him it's heart failure.
Turns out his aortic valve was going bad, lungs were filling up with fluid and around his heart.
Ambulance came to take him to the hospital where they drained his lungs, put him on a diuretic and scheduled him for a valve transplant.
Listen to your body people!
