Is the house changing some sort of unpredictable event the markets wouldn’t have priced in?

I think the jig is up for mobilization of prisoners now.
The ones left are only using it to escape at the first opportunity or just not agreeing to it.
Not sure where russias next reservoir of man power will originate from.

The professionals are dead. They died in the first wave against Kyiv.
The ones left are in Wagner throwing prisoner recruits at fortifications in Bakhmut.

Do you shout “I do not consent” and “I’m a sovereign citizen” through a rolled up window when the cops pull you over?

It could be in people who have had the vaccine or who have not had the vaccine.
It’s predominately associated with patients who have been hospitalized with severe Covid.
I won’t comment on whether vaccination reduces the odds of severe Covid requiring hospitalization since that seems to be more of a matter of opinion rather than a matter of fact these days.

Not sure comparing this event to what goes on in NOLA helps anyone’s argument
Less than 24h and this cats arrested with the mayor calling it out.

MPD said they have one male subject in custody from last nights shooting. He is receiving medical treatment and will be transported to Metro Jail and charged with murder. Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson has released a statement on last night’s shooting, “Like so many others, I am outraged at the violence that occurred last night in downtown Mobile. I am beyond disgusted that the actions of one or two individuals with suspected gang affiliations have taken a life, injured others and tarnished what should have been a safe and fun event.
quote:
This afternoon I met personally with the leadership of the Mobile Police Department and our federal law enforcement partners for an after-action report. A task force has already been launched dedicated to finding everyone responsible for last night’s shooting and holding them accountable. We will use every resource available to MPD and my office, and I have complete confidence that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.”

You’re looking at this wrong. Anything you do that is routine and handled the same way nearly every time will be automated. That’s probably 60-80% of what a lot of us do. Look at Self Checkout. One cashier now manages 10 registers instead of 10 cashiers actively manning 10 registers. In the near future a lot of jobs that had previously required teams of people can be handled by one person.
Doesn’t seem like I am.

Murders are actually down in mobile, but the thing is they usually stayed off in no man’s land.
This is twice in like a month or two bullets got chunked down that area of Dauphin which is, again, basically the heart of downtown. Hell, the Saengar is right there.
The city has got to invest in gentrifying the trash out of that area but they won’t.

Taking a train from Frankfurt to Paris is a worldview-altering experience.
Different countries, different languages, no passport required, flying along at 250-300km/h for about 50 bucks.

We don’t even let passenger planes fly without pilots onboard and that’s by far the most AI-friendly practical utilization that’s “disruptive”.

Just like with the twitter shite, there’s never a defined end game.
There’s no “it”. There’s no car for the dog to catch.
It’s all outrage porn designed to make you lose faith in American institutions.
Here’s a quick check anyone here can do: what is my actual terminal goal with consumption of this information?
Start evaluating where the end result of consumption of the information leads and then ask who benefits from that.
Hint: it’s not the United States.

Same ole story for Mobile. Tons of potential ruined by lack of execution.
Really has a chance to be a great city but can’t even go downtown on NYE without getting shot. The location of this shooting is literally in the heart of dauphin bars and restaurants.
City council too busy worrying about refusing to annex WeMo because it would add too many white people instead of improving the city.
