ask someone to grab you a coke from the store and they will bring you back an actual coca cola even though they've never once seen you drink one because you didn't call it "pop". And they will think you want to go to an actual grocery store to get it, not the corner store. That's a gas station.

BigX would be STUPID to not pick up GT.

They'd also be on an island all by themselves, unless they also took Duke.

Notre Dame, UVA, Duke, GT

I could see that, but damn, it just waters down their product even more.. but they are choosing to play weaker schedules imo..

If the SEC & B1G were both guaranteed 4 spots, you'd see their scheduling change imo

This tells me that you don't know what you are talking about. There are more Ole Miss fans than piglet fans in the Bootheel. There are some piglets, some State and only one Voltard fan.

Great. You just need 20 more of those in a row to crack a .400 winning percentage in the series.

Is this supposed to trigger me?

A) Wait on sales. They can be huge savings, and some of the stuff is really good. Not all, by any means.

B) If you think that’s bad, try eating out or buying a house here. Expensive and few choices, all while NIMBY-addled lefties decry any and all efforts to invest in development that would bring those costs down. On the other hand, I’ll take the weather and scenery for most of the year. I have an explosion of fall colors and the expanse of Lake Superior out the floor to ceiling windows of my living room and bedroom, and on my rooftop deck.

If the SEC is going to expand it will decimate the ACC in 2030 when the GoR is set to expire.

Miami, FSU, Clemson, & North Carolina are in

TBD on if they take any of Duke, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Louisville, or Georgia Tech.

For sure out are Wake Forest, NC State, SMU, Stanford, Cal, Notre Dame (partial), Pitt, Syracuse, and Boston College.
If the Big Ten does this private equity deal, they will be out of the expansion game for the foreseeable future. In that event, there is absolutely no reason for the SEC to consider taking in more members. Even if you could find a couple that wouldn't make the per capita revenue less, there just isn't room in the calendar for more than 9 games, and the way we are doing it with 16 is about as optimal as you can get.

Screw you. The Stars and Bars has a star for Missourah.

Here is just one CSA unit from Missourah. There are many others. Being a boarder state, we fought each other.

The 9th Missouri Sharpshooter Battalion, also known as Pindall's Missouri Sharpshooter Battalion, was a unit that served in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. The battalion was formed in late 1862, in compliance with an earlier authorization by the Confederate States Congress for each brigade to have an associated battalion of sharpshooters.

Now do Knoxville and Florida.

Just one more data point that Oklahoma doesn’t belong.

I would say they are midwest,

Simply put... people in the south may think Oklahoma is midwestern... but midwesterners think it is southern.

And on the "pop, soda, coke thing.?"

You hear it all three ways here. You hear "let's go get a coke" all the time.

I'd say "pop" is more common than "soda" but there are a lot of other people who say "soda".... and some people say "soda pop"...

And your southeastern Oklahoma Hillbillies will say Sody pop" and they are probably the most tried and true southerners we have.

I will give the OP props...though it is a very feeble troll attempt for Mizzou fans. kansas has become simply irrelevant anymore.

Most of us don't think of kansas, or incest conceived little sister arkansas...

I guess when we are in the middle of football season, and you are kansas or arkansas, there really is nothing you can contribute to the discussion.
