Maybe, maybe not , him and Cam were the driving force behind 10, got AU to title game in 13 and within one game in 17, Gus is flawed no doubt but keeps AU in contention, i have no problem replacing him if the right opportunity is there but your butthurt statement doesnt match up with his history.

I say this as someone who loves Alabama and hates Auburn, but they also just flat out looked like the better team.

Nobody believes me but I think beating Alabama this year was the worst thing that could happen to auburn. Now they’re stuck with a retarded coach who doesn’t know how to call pass plays. They’ll see what I mean one year from now.

Not asking about Auburn.

Beating Alabama is the be all and end all with them. The proof? Tommy Tuberville was great so long as he could wave his fingers at the Bama fans.

He got his arse kicked ONCE...and to the dumpster he got sent .
Yeah, losing 5 of the 6 games previous to that one, including our first loss to Vandy in 53 years and at home against an Arky team that went winless against the rest of the P5 schedule, plus scoring 10 points combined against bad MSU and UT teams, and getting his arse kicked on the recruiting trail didnt factor into his firing at all.

Yep. Bama lost a chance at a playoff berth where they had no chance at winning it all, but isn't Auburn the real loser here? They're stuck with Gus.

It's true

I teased my Auburn buddy yesterday about this. He's been calling for Gus' head for two years now. Now they're stuck with him and beating Alabama is all it takes

I love the melt about the 1 second. Remember when the Vols came out in the wildcat against Bama and the refs gave Bama a free timeout to get set with no explanation? I 'member.

Now Freep...if he wins that game does he get fired? Be honest. No way in hell.

And all the suck that you described would have been just as true.

He didn't stretch anything. Alabama is too stupid to grasp the rules

You guys should never complain about people stretching the rules. The SEC officiating crew has been helping you guys for years. Even in the game last night when Auburn had to punt and their Drive failed, your defensive back grabbed the receiver on the inside of the front part of his pads and no pass interference was called.

Did I complain? I said you do it til it's called, and it was good coaching.
