So...there are 322 former student-athletes involved in this specific, one-time situation where the NCAA changed the year-eligibility rules, and LSU/Lane -- who is working with 3 of those players -- is the only team/coach that is the bad guy here.

Right.

At this point, all that matters is week 1 football. The noise is not going to affect the Clemson game...

Everyone is still so mad Lane Kiffin is our coach. Ole Miss fans are still acting like we committed murder. And it's all you bama folks plus auburn and the aggies and florida always trying to insinuate that LSU is not on the up and up. thems the rules yall!

LSU is the plaintiff or defendant in which of these cases?

I really don't know how much more evidence people need to realize that this isn't about LSU. This about the NCAA trying to cover their asses. All they're doing is making Lane Kiffin look like he fights for the players. Something I'm sure LSU will use in recruiting.

I don’t disagree with you on the fundamentals. However, Lane Kiffin isn’t some great administrative CEO coach. He’s an offense guy. This stuff is way over his head and a PR nightmare has emerged as a result of his inability to manage the messaging. There is no way all these distractions aren’t going to have a negative impact on the season.

Tell me how you would manage the unrelenting, echo chamber stream of media diarrhea on this matter.

He doesn’t get paid 12 mil a year to manage it. Lane does tho

Of these 322 athletes, how many are former NFL players?

Who encouraged those NFL players to sue?

Which teams in the SEC pursued players after the deadline?

Which teams in the SEC voted for a ban and then used a TRO in Louisiana to circumvent that ban?

Which teams in the SEC pretended to be the badass kid on the block that no one can do without, then cried and claimed to be victims that just can’t understand why they were singled out and picked on?

Going undrafted, trying out for a team and being cut in training camp before the season starts makes someone a “former NFL PLAYER”? I

But, but, but they signed a contract! Well, guess what they just got cut and waved so the contract is void. They never actually played one fricking professional down in their lives. But totally fine having six and seventh year dudes playing for a lot of the top teams out there right now …it’s fricking comical.

“Why are people finding out about LSU in the news and picking on us? Help!!!”

Just for LSU players. It's okay if the Texas players do it.

Hearsay. Lane said he did not do that.

All of them.

Players did this in Louisiana and several other states, no schools.
