When you take into account we didnt have Judkins the last year, then it raises some eyebrows. Especially when he was listed as RB1 and had less carries. Lane started a wide receiver at running back that had never started at running back in his career against Florida over Bentley. That’s the kind of stuff that make people question things
Yall legit are incapable of rational thought with Kiffin

Bentley was THIRD on your team for YPC with running backs

Parrish-130 carries at 5.2 YPC
Jones-44 carries at 5.1 YPC
Bentley-86 carries at 5.0 YPC

Seriously how is this conversation even a thing?

Kiffin literally never gave a straight answer as to why he wasn’t playing and said verbatim that it wasn’t anything off the field. His lack of answers allowed for the void to create this nonsense, along with playing a 4th string receiver at RB in a must win game over him. I don’t understand LSU fans investment in arguing this point. Dude ended up on an NFL roster and had a WR playing in his spot. It makes zero sense if he doesn’t explain it and he never did.

So logically, he was fricking the coach's daughter. Interesting conclusion.

ITT: trashy, porn-addicted people justify slandering a girl.

Seriously. Y’all’s brains are fricking warped.

“Our RB didn’t play so he must’ve been screwing Lane’s daughter!”

Stop watching porn. Really.

Coaches protect their players all the time by saying that. If Lane didn't have a daughter at the school, this would've been accepted without question. It's such an odd leap to make just because he has a daughter.

Acting like .2 YPC is significant is hilarious. 7 inches a carry. Especially when he was still our more explosive back.

Y'all need to sit back and read what y'all are saying. Nearly every game in the NFL, people are saying the other running back should be getting more carries.

But y'all have turned that into a circle jerk amongst yourselves that it truly had to be that his daughter was sleeping with the player.

Crazy

Parrish missed the bulk of the season in 2024 due to injury. He got the benefit of playing those first four games against Furman, MTSU, Wake Forest, and Georgia Southern. When we played against Kentucky, Parrish was completely shut down and Bentley didn't even see the field.

Looking at his game log, Parrish appeared in at least 9 games.

and the thing Ole Miss fans arrived at was "he must be fricking Lane's daughter"? Like we joke around with stuff like that (like "Jordan Jefferson must have incriminating photos of Les Miles") but your fan base has convinced themselves that a player must be screwing the coach's daughter because he wasn't playing as much as you think he should have been. And because he wouldn't give you a sound bite, that must have been the case. That's just wild logic to any outsider looking at it.

He was a practice squad player. He was on an active roster for one game and never got in a game in the NFL. He lasted one season in the NFL.

Success rate

This measures the percentage of carries considered successful. A successful rush is gaining at least 50 percent of yardage needed on 1st down, 75 percent on 2nd down, and 100 percent on 3rd/4th down.

For example, a 5-yard rush on 1st down is more valuable to an offense than a 15-yard run on 3rd and 25.

Matt Jones: 50 percent
Domonique Thomas: 44.44
Henry Parrish: 43.85
Ulysses Bentley: 40.48

Explosive Run Play Percentage
This measures the percentage of runs that gained 10 or more yards (some advanced stats use 12 or 15 yards).

Parrish: 16.92
Jones: 13.64
Thomas: 8.33
Bentley: 8.33

They've also said there's a sex tape and she has STD's. No wonder Lane was ready to GTFO.

Parrish was solid but he wasn’t better than Bentley. Plus he was always laboring with some sort of injury that year. And any time Lane was asked about Bentley not getting as much PT, he would blow the question off which was unusual because he would normally give some sort of reason for a player not getting on the field.

I’m not saying it had anything to do with Landry or anyone else but it was extremely odd and people run wild with speculation. There’s no other instance of that happening in his 6 seasons here.

Again, the people putting signs up about this are cringe as frick and should grow up.

Lane absolutely refused to play Bentley in 2024.....in fact, he started at 4th string WR at running back against Florida while Bentley sat on the bench......a game in which we lost....has to be a reason why Lane would not play him

Maybe not but there are certainly instances in football, in general, where a player perceived to be as better isn't playing and the coach never gives a reason.
