haha LSU fans loving this shite

that sucks for Landon that he won't get to say he was a first rounder but he'll still be playing in the league - being a first rounder ain't what it used to be it's all about that second contract

going early didn't help Trent for sure maybe Landon lucked out and can now land on a team that works out better for him

Hard hitting, run stopping safety's are kind of like HB's and FB's in the modern NFL. No matter how good you are, the game has shifted to a pass heavy offense. If you can't cover a WR one on one as a safety, you probably won't go first round. He was the best safety available, but safety is no longer in high demand.

nothing will ever be worse than Kennedy Winston and the NBA draft

like we all know Landon will get in the league here soon, it's just jokes at this point but what happened to Kennedy Winston was when keeping it real went wrong

he leaves Bama early, cause he was hot shite at our school and thought the NBA was dying for him, and he really was a solid player

he rents out a Wing place for his whole family and crew to watch the NBA draft.... not selected in either of the rounds

does not pass go does not get in the league and his whole family is there to watch it

ughhhhhhhhhhh that sucks

He was never Laron.

Not as fast, not as physical.

He is a great tackler, but bound to be exposed in coverage. I just can't see where a team needs to use a high pick on him.

His college team has absolutely not a thing to do with it. Lol

He also wouldn't have a national championship ring.

Collins was a 3 star after thought in the recruiting process. If he is drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round, that is pretty incredible.

Just goes to show what DBU can do. Take a 3 star and turn him into a second round pick.

Alabama takes a 5 star All-Everything and where is he drafted? Not where he thought he'd be.

Lousy in coverage. Everybody knows that. Throw in shitty db coaching at his school and you have a second round draft pick at best.

We will see it again in a few years when Adams goes in the top 15 and is a first year starter and Hootie is a free agent who gets cut in camp.

We might never hear from Hootie in college - not that much, anyway.

What in the world happened to Alabama's Secondary coaching? It is horrible and that is the weakness of the team of late.

Alabama's Secondary: Where 5 star talent goes to die.

If you put your ears up to a window you can still hear the faint sound of an Ohio State quarterback throwing another touchdown pass over Landon's befuddled head.

It's definitely possible. LSU is amazing at putting guys in the NFL. And they're productive as hell too. Y'all got a good thing going as far as nasty corner and safety play go

Crazy thing is, he looked amazing in coverage.....SOMETIMES. I've seen plenty plays where he runs even with the receiver, kinda cuts off their ability to make a play on a ball thrown to the inside of the field, and turn his head to locate the ball.

But it was noticeable sometimes that he wasn't around the ball as much as say, Ha Ha was. I think Collins has the ability to improve though. But the way the NFL has gone more pass happy, it's tough to take a guy really early with coverage problems.

LC would not have been a first rounder if he chose LSU. He would have provided depth at linebacker at DBU.
