This always happens. Any LA kid that picks Alabama gets absolutely trashed and attacked in the recruiting board. Some of the things they say about these kids and their families is SHOCKING. Then they wonder why a kid would be mad and have a vendetta.
You think these kids don't read these forums? You think these kids don't see how badly they get insulted by grown men if they don't choose LSU?
There is a reason these kids dance around it and wait till late to reveal they want to go elsewhere. Then the same guys perpetuating this nonsense will get angry that they are being lead on. Well you're getting lead on because you guys go psycho and these kids don't want that so they sell what you want to hear till they can go for what they want.
At the end of the day these kids see how that fanbase is acting. They see it, their parents see it and it ain't a good look.

Yes we did. He wanted to play Mr. Drama Queen with his embarrassing announcement on the UA game so what did he think the LSU fans would feel. What a dumb shite. That has really worked out well for him in playing time. It is nice to know that a bench warmer and coat carrier for Clinton-Dix is miffed about us...
Cam Rob announced and most people, although they don't like, have accepted it and moved on.

You don't even know what position he plays. You don't even know he has started three games (he isn't a bench warmer) or that he has been one of our best defensive players.

Cam Rob, his family and his friends were thoroughly insulted. He has been getting attacked on twitter about having 'tits' being slow mentally and all of a sudden he sucks.

Sounds like the kid is mostly just trying to give himself bulletin board material. It's cheap and I doubt Saban will be happy with him about it. It's just a bit silly. Almost as silly as A.J.'s comments about UT being disrespectful before the game.
OTOH, it's not a terrible recruiting tactic for LA kids, if Collins had that in his head when he made the statement. He just got his words reported in the national media and every LA recruit out there is seeing a kid who's trending upwards with Bama and trashing the LSU fanbase. It'd be a mistake to give this more weight than it deserves -- we're not talking about some major PR disaster here -- but it's also a mistake to pretend that LA recruits aren't listening to these things. Doesn't he have a younger brother that LSU wants?

Landon played Money for us early, and has started at both FS and SS this year. He's been crazy good.
