Up by 2 points with 1.1 seconds left. They just leave a Carolina player wide open at the 3 point line to shoot an untested 3 pointer. Lady Vols also had a foul to give.

One of the worse plays ever. They didn’t guard the inbounded or the shooter. It looked liked they packed their defense inside when the ball was going to be shot from outside. Incredibly bad

To me, it doesn’t matter the player has never made a three, you don’t let them take an uncontested shot to win IMHO.

This play should be shown to all players by their coaches. You can’t stop playing. Sheesh!

Kardoso said postgame that she takes these shots regularly in practice. Apparently, TN had no idea; no one within ten feet of her. Yikes.

Should have never happened...go back and watch the last missed free throw. cocks rebound the ball, takes 1 dribble, picks the ball up and starts dribbling again. How did a ref miss that??

What’s even crazier is that the USC player that hit that 3 was her first career made 3.

At least the vols center had her hands up to contest the shot 16 ft away
