Then please explain the Emancipation Statue being removed. It was paid for by freed slaves and dedicated by Fredrick Douglas.
If you really want to know what is going on, read the actual words from the leaders of the movements. Hear their interviews where they actually state "we are trained marxists".. Literally their words.
Then GO BACK into history and read MAO's May 16th Notification. Then read about Destruction of the Four Olds from MAO. Does this sound familiar?
The Four Olds were: Old Customs, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Ideas.
- Changed the names of streets and cities. Because.. offensive.
- Destroyed statues. Happening NOW in the USA
- classical literature and Chinese paintings were torn apart, and Chinese temples were desecrated. Happening RIGHT NOW in the USA. A Movie, Gone with the Wind... done over. Mark Twain... here we go again...
- The Cemetery of Confucius was attacked in November 1966, during the Cultural Revolution, when it was visited and vandalized by a team of Red Guards from Beijing Normal University, led by Tan Houlan.
- Red Guards broke into the homes of the wealthy.... happening here. At every level.
