Mike Leach sure lucked out when he tweeted this a couple of months before George Floyd died. If he tweeted this now he'd be shite canned.

You have a point. He was from 20 minutes up the road so not like it was a surprise to him. If it was a big deal he could’ve signed out of state.

How has Georgia managed to keep their state flag, other than people are really dumb and don't recognize where it came from?

can't think of a worse look/move for a program to do than pull the scholly of one of your best black athletes for speaking out about the flag like this.

Politics aside he is threatening the same program who is providing his livelihood to play football

You're not doing Leach any favors by reposting it, hell you might be the reason Leach gets fired

He's a good player so I'd definitely love to have him but I wouldn't take him over Najee

Agreed. So even if you don't agree with him, you'd have to call him courageous for doing something like that to stick up for something he believes in.

so when is Georgia changing the state flag?

We changed it only a few years ago. Don't want to change it again. PeeJay is probably the most triggered SJW I've seen here in YEARS. All he knows is how he likes it in his Democrat controlled city of Atlanta. It hurts his feelings that The SECCG game is played there and that his little GaTech isn't worthy of being an SEC competitor anymore, so he comes here to cry about perceived injustices. He needs to find an ACC board and go whine about how FSU needs to change their mascot.

If I ever say I'd like to see GaTech in the SEC again when that thread inevitably comes up, someone please smack me. (Bookmark this post and remind me.)

If he transfers, we know he won't go to Georgia or Ga Tech since their state uses the actual flag of the confederacy.

I don't know if he has graduated or not. If not, I'm calling his bluff.

Are you saying there are no republicans who would vote in favor of a new flag?

Amazing to me the same people that claim to be the best of Patriots also support the glorification of a treasonous rebellion to the US. I assume y'all wouldn't have a problem with the MS flag bearing the ISIS emblem?

The only treason committed was by the union when they refused to let their American brethren do what they had every right to do.

Anyone who understands states' rights (usually conservative people) knows full well the union was absolutely in the wrong in starting the civil war.

Oh that's right...bc a flag doesn't bother him at all he just wants attention because being outraged is the cool thing to do the last few weeks.

Here's the issue: the school is on his side. Mississippi State hasn't flown the state flag on campus for years now. They don't present colors at the games anymore because of it. School leadership have issued statements calling for a change of the flag.

Penalizing the guy next to you in the fight for the same things you want is stupid.

I think the entire team should refuse to play. Just get kids who are at the school who want to play in there.

I look forward to watching games again where they players are not big, but they are slow :)
