23-39, 310 Yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Not terrible. Probably the best QB we've had in 10 years.
Thank you Randy Shannon, Doug Nussmeier, and Jim McElwain

He played well. I was impressed with him.

Mullen had this dude behind Franks.

Not bad against the worst defense in the country. They'll definitely cost us every game from here on out once we start playing someone good.

He was impressive. Good game and he didn't look rattled at all.

He was damn good. Emery was a real threat too.
Trask went through his progressions, made accurate throws and made big throws under pressure.
If he continues to play like that and y’all get Zuniga and Greenard back healthy I fully expect Florida to win the east.

What does this tell you about Mullen though?

Sad but.....Franks injury was the best thing to happen to your team. Trask will win plenty games for you

Is Trask better than Fromm? Asking for a friend.

I had crow for breakfast and a crow sandwich incoming for lunch.

Is Fields better than Fromm, UGA fans?

Some guys look the part but don't get it done. Franks looks like the QB everyone wants, it's natural to want to stick with the guy with all the tools. On the other hand Mullen made his name as a QB guru.

Said this last night but oddly I feel like that being his first start in so long helped him a bit. No one expects a guy getting his first road start in 7-8 years in an environment and game like that to do well. In that situation I feel like he's just like frick it I'm just gonna play and see what happens. I know i always pitched better against great lineups that people expected to knock me around because I took that attitude into the game. But then again I never threw in an environment like that and Trask definitely has some stones between his legs.
But great game UF. Y'alls offense played much better than I expected but it balanced out with our offense scoring more easily than I thought we would going in. All in all i think both teams have a lot of positives to take away from that game and both a few negatives. Just glad the Tigers got the W.

Had Franks played and had his usual game, would he have made a difference? AU's QB is a rookie and showed it on the road in the Swamp. Trask did not blink and played great, especially if his knee was an issue. Open competition next year, is he the starting QB?

If Franks plays, Auburn and LSU blow us out.

Agree, still don't get why Merlins started the wildly inconsistent Franks over him?

Definitely not terrible. Pretty good actually. I think LSU could have made it worse for him if Aranda would've brought more pressure early on.
LSU won though. Maybe the game plan was give the opponent one look early on, come out in the 2nd more aggressively when there wasn't going to be another opportunity to make a lot of adjustments to more pressure?
If so, it worked. Domination for 60 minutes is more fun, though!
