If you saw how ridiculous the OSU fanbase had been to him over social media it'd paint a better picture.

Idk it’s tough because I get that he wasn’t to the recent standard of QB play at OSU, but it’s not like he was terrible

My guess is McCord knew he was going to lose his starting job in the upcoming season.
OSU is going to be looking for answers to relieve their Michigan drought and my guess is they will be looking for a new solution at QB.

This is how it should be. You're at an elite program and you can't take advantage of the elite talent surrounding you. That sounds like another QB as well. So, the school should be able to move on from you b/c you're not performing. By the way the rumor is McCord pocketed $300K for this season and drove a $100K vehicle. Ohio State invested in him and got a poor return.
Furthermore, QB record is a poor statistic when you play at an elite school b/c it's only 1-2 schools that can beat you in a given season.

Ryan Day has not been generous about McCord in interviews. Have some family near Columbus and they've said that to the media up there he's been openly critical of him.
Getting openly roasted by your coach in the media is probably a good motivator to leave.

No, just marveling at the fact that you still can't admit you said some wild shite that was entirely proven to be false. You have zero ability to admit maybe your takes were off and then aggressively attack anyone who did or does disagree with you in the slightest.
Milroe is now being carried by a team with below average coaching is quite a take. At some point the success of the team will just be due to a strong wind or some sort of unexplainable shift in the cosmos, not attributable to any player or staff.

I'm really surprised by this one. Just not a fan of players entering the portal simply to earn a larger pay day. I don't blame the players overall but man...it's a terrible thing for the game.
Now there could be more going on here but for most guys entering the portal when they already have a starting job it's typically to get a big cash prize.
