You’re not allowed to talk till you have made a trip to Omaha. Believe it or not, this wasn’t the college World Series. It’s game 1 of a 3 game series. We have been doing bullpen games on Friday and have lost 2 of the last 3 Friday nights. But guess what, we win the series 3 of the last 3.

So does that mean Tennessee fans can STFU about basketball until they make a Final Four?

Just checking in on the hypocrisy.

And you will still have missed the most important part of the story..

Your field is small..
Your players will hit a lot of home runs on this small field..
Your players will gain confidence..
Your players will try to hit more home runs..

If and when you get to Omaha..

That field is not small..
The ball doesn't carry the same way it did at Rosenblatt.
Your players have trained their brain to try and hit home runs..
But a lot of those "home runs" will be caught on the warning track..
This lowers confidence..

The game of baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical.

This post might make a little sense if we hadn’t hit home runs away from Knoxville, but we have. 29 HRs in 11 games away from home. In stadiums much closer to sea level and most in chilly conditions. Including 3 games in a major league park.

If you extrapolate that out, if we had played all our games away from home we would still have 103HRs(4 less than the current total) and would still be leading the country in that category.

I appreciate your effort though.

Trying to figure out if we hit enough homeruns on the road in our series win. How was that guys? Was that enough?

The most impressive home run I seen today was the piss missile that tears to right field. That ball didn’t get 10 feet off the ground and still went out on a line drive. That’s raw power, and he will have him back next year.

The best part of you ran down your moms leg. That’s the stupidest take I’ve seen on a sports forum ever. That’s LSU level stupid.

Make that 33HRs in 12 games away from home.

Good Lord, this board is filled with imbeciles.

So KY doesn't have a real sized ball park, I guess?
