Beard should have already been fired. I agree. I hope this delay has very negative consequences for our AD who wins all of the sports that don't matter but who makes terrible hires in football & basketball. Beard's volatile relationship with this trashy & psycho chick was a known thing before he was hired.

He should have been fired, but in this stupid year that we live in, that would have ended up a bigger disaster than the story already told.
You can’t just fire a coach without cause. Not with a guaranteed contract like that. If he was found innocent in the courts, Beard would sue the pants off of Texas.
Sadly; this is the world we live in.
As a basketball coach, I love Coach Beard.
As a man, I have my reservations at this point and I don’t realistically see how he can ever coach at Texas again, unless he has concrete proof that the whole thing was complete bullshite.
She called the cops for a reason. Either she is a crazy bitch or he deserved to go to jail. It will be interesting to see if they stay together.
