The Krystal in my town just shut down permanently. It happened last week, they even took the Krystal sign with them.

Krystals. #3 combo. 5 cheese crystals and chili cheese fries. If the chili cheese fries don't look like one of those plastic vomit prank toys, then it ain't legit.

The closest Krystal's was in Garden City, but it closed a while back. Now the only one's here in SC are on the other side of the state. I think Cookout hurt their business since they're open late night and are pretty cheap.

I’ve had White Castle up north, as in Northeast. It’s been a while but the biggest difference was White Castle did not have mustard. I can’t remember if it had mayo or ketchup but it definitely didn’t have mustard. I just remember thinking I liked Krystal better.
I will say this much though. In the Northeast, the Burger Kings were DAMN good. Same product but maybe because they had better employees or something. I ate at several and remember thinking how much better they were. Again, they didn’t have thug looking employees so maybe their employees gave a damn.

I think Kentucky and Mizzou are the only 2 SEC states that have White Castle. But that’s ok, I think Krystal is better….burp.

There was one in Nashville on White Bridge Road about 25 years ago. Don't know if it is still there or not.
I've never seen one further south than that.
