Same exact injury happened to Auburn’s Keonte Scott in week 2. Scott had the same surgery as well and is back on the field after a few weeks and is back to his old self. That injury/surgery is very easy to come back from.

Tua had the same procedure a few years ago and was back in 27 days. This is the anticipated timeline for this type of injury/procedure.

He's already practicing non-contact with the team.

Exactly. Non contact. It would be retarded for him to come back and play three weeks after getting four screws drilled into his ankle bone. He takes one low hit and fricks his ankle up again and he might never be the same.

You don't know what you don't know.

I don't expect you to be an expert on UGA practice philosophies.
I don't expect you to be an expert on the history of injured UGA starters and their returns.

Jamaree Salyer did start and play after going through a Bloody Tuesday practice in a non-contact jersey. It is rare. But not unprecedented.

Bama fans wouldn't know anything about 1 vs 1s on a Tuesday practice.
Why am I not surprised that the tide has gone soft?

He's projecting his fear of being banned after this weekend onto Bowers' injury.

Very interesting from a psychological perspective.

This is a dumb take. If he is cleared by doctors and wants to play...you play him.

you saw last year that injuries happened. Remember that Heupel jeopardized Hookers future when he let him play last year vs SC knowing prior to the game that we added extra sand to slow yall down

A QB with drop back skills like Tua can play successfully on a limp ankle still without putting to much strain on it. TE position is completely different.

Same. Guy is a cheater who learned from the best just like Pruitt only Kirby is much more competent.

Terrified. As soon as Bowers got up limping the OP stated unequivocally it was an ACL injury. I assume he was basing this on it being such a hard hit that it knocked Bowers knee to his ankle, the OP is anatomically challenged or the OP was excited about the fact that Bowers had been injured and was hoping it was season or even career ending. He is terrified of Bowers. Wants no part of Bowers being able to play in a few weeks. He has been fantasizing about it for weeks now...

I don't want to hear UGA fans blaming our turf or players if he plays and gets hurt.

Football is a rough sport as LSU fans re -discovered this past weekend and Tennessee's defense is very physical.

We won't go easy on him just because he's injured.

UGA let our grass grow long for an extra week for the same nefarious purpose.
