I mean all you ever hear about is how Kirby is killing it in recruiting and then you get land blasted on the biggest stage. So is his recruiting not as dominant as we thought or does he just suck as a coach??

It's not like he's going .500 in the state with the most talent per capita

But LSU did it twice!

What's it like to have consistent top 10 recruiting classes and finish the season unranked?

I think he is stuck with the old mind set of a great defense will stop the offenses of today. Until he changes his offense I don't see him getting a National Championship.

THIS is why Saban switched over to a powerful offense half a decade ago.

In the big game you HAVE to be equipped to win a shootout.

Lets see

Kriby won the SEC in 2017 year 2 and lost the NC's game
Played for the SEC again in 2018
Played for the SEC again in 2019 but lost
Played for the SEC again in 2021 but lost

LSU ...2019 2019 2019

I think he’s a good coach. He’s just struggling at beating the GOAT.

Kirby's decisions are as bad as his recruiting is good.

He's a good coach. As others have said, his offense needs to evolve. With today's rules, you need to have an explosive offense. It's almost impossible to have a truly great defense that can stop any offense

Georgia has been left behind as far as evolving offenses. The QB position is the reason why they will waste a golden opportunity.

Here's the tough news about being a good coach. And not a good OC, not a good DC, a good head coach. A good head coach can only be known by the action it prompts.

Read your paragraph again, you also just summed up Les Miles's head coaching career at LSU.

QB recruiting so far is not on par with Saban. Let's see if the next few years change that.

Also, Bama played a great game. Have to give credit where its due.

Les never changed and was fired 15 years into his HC career because of it. Kirby isn’t there yet, but he is showing shades of that kinda stubbornness. Hope he learned that “do what we do but better” isn’t gonna be enough to win it this year.

You can't watch Georgia play offense this year and come away thinking they are some stone age offense. That's ridiculous.

Their issue is the QB is limited and they don't trust him. Now, that obviously leads to the "well who is playing QB" question, which is legitimate. But people keep acting like Georgia still runs their old 2017/2018 offense. They do not at all. Monken runs a legit offensive system. This isn't James Coley running dives into the centers arse every 1st down.

Yep. The guy has a conservative streak in him that is pure DNA. He's fighting every instinct that is more than 3 yards and a cloud of dust. For him to truly let it rip has got to be like walking a tightrope across Niagra Falls blindfolded.

Talent is not the problem
He's trying to run the bama offense from 2009-2011
He refuses to modernize the offense to utilize all that talent
He has game managers at QB that is not going to beat this version of bama
Even LSU made UGA look foolish in 2019
He will figure it out or keep losing in the biggest moments every season
He better hope Tenn and Fla don't figure things out or it's going to be tougher to dominate the east like they have been

UGA made playoffs despite themselves but do you really think anything will be different with another bama matchup
