SC is a poverty sports program.
They had a blip in baseball, made Ray Tanner AD who is awful. They had a good monopoly going in WBB basketball until an actual GOAT joined the conference and won a natty in two years, pimple on the arse of everyone in football, men’s basketball is good for a flash in the pan every decade.
No gymnastics because they are poor. Quite literally the only thing they have is this and even still Mulkey won the last Natty between the 2 and Kim will have won double the natties as Dawn when both hang it up.
I really wish it wasn’t this way because Clemson fans are the absolute worst around here and SC being better than dog shite at any sport would go along way to shut them up.
But alas you have to continue to settle for the “ we pack out Willy B no matter what because we are loyal.” BS. Or the “ we would have had you guys if the ref didn’t tackle Garcia.”

In the Grand scheme of things so is SC.
The only good jobs in this state are manufacturing blue collar, nursing, and teachers. Also the random accounting white collar jobs for said companies.
Overall a shite economy for anyone with modern skills. Best thing going is Fort Mill so you work for Charlotte based companies.
So sure Louisiana is poor, but I can say first hand so is SC.
