Lane Kiffin is a guy who will win 10/11 games every once in a while and then go back to 7-9 wins.

I guess if you're happy being ranked in the top 10 every 4 years and winning absolutely no hardware, sure. But that doesn't make a "top 10 program."

It would be a huge step up from where Florida and Auburn currently are. Let me know if you think Saban would leave Bama to come to Auburn. Who are all of these Championship coaches out there for the taking? Ed O? Chiz? Listicles?

If you’re winning 11 games and finishing in the top 10, 90% of the time you’re going to be in Atlanta. And with the playoff expansion coming you’ll be in that as well.

This has nothing to do with money. Ole miss has already ponied 9.5mm and Auburn will match or exceed that easy. This is about resources and commitments. We'll see who wins

He said 7-9 and 10-11. He didn’t say win 9 games most years and 11 sometimes. Regardless, with 12 game seasons and bowl games, that’s losing 4-6 games most years and 2-3 games every once in awhile. No, that’s not a top 10 program. That’s what Gus Malzahn did at Auburn.
