Not sure if you've been watching this season.
The face mask was called and absolutely one of the scariest plays I've seen in a long time. Very glad he's okay.
The push down was Bush league bullshite, as was the shoulder check after a TD. Should have benched the latter for just all out assholery.
But, Bryce has been abused all year with late hits, hands/elbows to the head, and straight up targeting with no calls, even after review.
Bama gets some calls and misses some. Losing teams are always more sensitive to the ones that went against them, and Bama simply wins more than others so the perception is expected.
It is fairly even on the whole in most games. I prefer consistency in how a game is called. Some crews let more physical play occur and others don't. Other crews are all over the map. Unfortunately, the majority in recent years just seem incompetent.
I'm not a fan of the old school lay on them and push off on your way up to wear them down, but it's absolutely a taught part of football from JV forward.
