Alabama basketball coach plays accomplice to a murder and a former G League player: no suspension
Ole Miss basketball coach beats up women: no suspension
LSU football coach doesn't break any rules but makes joke about it: suspension.
Several football coaches currently rostering former NFL training camp players which the NCAA rules as ineligible: no suspension
Ole Miss football coach starts ineligible quarterback: no suspension
Makes a lot of sense.

They can accept the sanctions or I would assume try to fight it likely going to court whatever that entails.If the sanctions that passed were supported by the member institutions then LSU would have no choice to accept or otherwise leave.
Either we have a conference or we don’t. LSU doesn’t get to decide which rules they choose to agree with…. Rules which their administration signed off on by the way. If the sanctions handed down are agreed upon by the members under the bylaws of the conference you must accept. You don’t get to pick and choose. You don’t have to be a member of the SEC if you don’t agree with it.
