Or start at left tackle for 4 consecutive years like Lee Ziemba did...

But hey, Auburn has no success in stealing players from Arkansas!

Forgot all about Ziemba.. Yeah I agree, Arky recruits just haven't contributed for us. Arky knew what recruits to take, thus the reason AU can't reach their level of success.

Bet he would have told Gus no thanks if he could have known about the Auburn process .
Pig U would have been a better fit for both KF and MD.

What Auburn process is that?

BTW, Kiehl Frazier is the one that originally came up with the idea of the move so he could contribute in any way.

Kodi Burns part two. That was huge for us. He will probable redshirt and have two years at safety. Proud of KF, today he became an Auburn Man.

I remember watching him on that PBS Frontline documentary when he was still in HS. He seemed to have a lot of potential.

Safety...

Can anyone name a player who moved from QB to Safety successfully?

Off the top of my head, former Auburn player Will Herring played QB in high school and moved to safety in college. He is now playing LB in the NFL. There's probably more.

I will say that it's more likely to transition from QB to DB than the other way around...

Wasn't Johnthan Banks a QB in HS and moved to corner in college/safety?

We really did not have even adequate QB play (something). If Malzhan made a QB mistake it was more benching Trotter and playing Clint Mosely in 2011.

Isn't one of your competing qb's a converted DB? By the way, as afraid of contact as KF was, why the move to a position that one has to be a thumper? Other than him knowing he would really never have a chance to display his hitting ability. Wouldn't TE be a better position? Seems like that transition would be easier to make than moving to safety. Oh well, good luck to KF in his move.
