I agree it’s not non existent. Judging by the computer models for both Arkansas and Kentucky games, Kentucky has a slightly lower (5% less chance) of wining putting them right around 4% give of take.

It's not quite that simple. But you can't get caught looking into the backfield and give up anything cheap when UGA takes shots downfield. Which they will when you walk a safety down to outnumber them to stop the run. You have to play great man pass D.

UGA is going to blitz and you have to scheme on O to make it hurt when they do. Run enough to keep them honest, but from what I have seen of them you can throw it on them.

Keep the situation identical but change the sport to basketball. Georgia would get the same amount of (dis)respect going into Rupp as your football team has going into Sanford. Kind of makes sense, doesn't it?

It’s the beginning of a new era and Kentucky has decided to invest in football. That’s sensible since we’re a founding member of a football-obsessed conference. We have progressed to the point wherein we are bringing an undefeated team into the home of the nation’s universally acclaimed number one team.

Do we hope to win? Of course. Do we expect to win? Of course not. As mentioned earlier, UGA is on another level all by themselves. They’re amazing and entertaining to watch. All we can expect is to see is if our boys can stay on the field with this incredible team.

The game is on the schedule so we have to play it. I’m sure, however, that most fans of the East division schools will be rooting for Georgia in the SECCG and the playoffs. The West has been dominant for far too long.

Keys for UK to win the game.

Don't turn it over.
Run it enough to make UGA respect it.
Throw the ball effectively, this can be done and when they blitz, hurt them.
STOP THE RUN. Make them throw.
When they do, don't give up anything cheap. Play good pass D.
To have a chance, you must match their physicality. Come prepared.

If you do these things, you can stay in the game.

Fair enough. I agree, we have to play error free football, which we haven't done all season, and make/hope Georgia makes big mistakes.

They are likely the best team in the SEC, no question, and I'm not suggesting that they aren't.

You still have to play to decide. I do appreciate the hubris, they have a right to it I guess. I hope our players are hearing that and using it as motivation in practice.

You guys are acting like we are a middle school team getting ready to play the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huh? We are acting like Kentucky is similar to auburn and Arkansas.

Auburn did some good things vs UGA. Just not enough of them.

I’ve been following Georgia football since 1975. The truth is we don’t have a fricking clue what’s going to happen Saturday until the ball’s teed up and the final whistle blows. Kentucky is a good challenge for this team and I’m just glad I’ve got the opportunity to see it played out.

Yes, I hope it's a good test for Kirby and team. Would love for it to come down to one possession.

Not really. Bo Nix played above his level. That’s about all Auburn did good against UGA.

There are two first round draft picks on our OL

Interesting. We have two first round players on the defensive line plus several OLBS and ILBs who can make it. Should be a great matchup.

said previously if this was #11 Florida or LSU, I doubt people would be posting that there is no chance Georgia loses.

If they looked as average as y’all have this year, we would treat them like we are treating y’all.

They had some success at times throwing the ball. They stopped the run at times too but got caught looking into the backfield and got beat deep.

If you catch a QB that gets hot with a decent receiver or two you'll see what I mean. It'll be awful hard to do much running it.

Covering huge spreads is always a risky proposition no matter what.

They guys who create these spreads are pretty smart and right more than they're wrong. We covered vs the three teams that I payed attention to; Clemson, Arkansas and Auburn, and we covered on all three.

Anything can happen in CFB, I just think we cover at home. It's gonna be very, very loud.

Your general take is right, I just believe it has less to do with how AU drew up their offense and more Nix playing better than most days. Also, good teams will be able to stop our run game at times.

Georgia has allowed 33 points all season. We scored 34 on saturday in jordan hare stadium. What number can we put up at home with secnation and gameday and the sec east on the line?

Are you suggesting Tebow, Finebaum, Corso are lacing it up for Georgia? Not sure why any of that matters.

Ummm. What?

Again, not suggesting that UK has a great chance to win, but it's not non existent either.

I never said it was nonexistent. Does that need to be confirmed in writing by every uga fan for you?
Our team can lose?

Stats are great, but hardly have an impact when the ball is kicked off against the team in front of you.

They arent stats. They are uga football players. If you dont know their names and numbers, just say so. We can help you.

Assuming that Bennett plays. Kentucky needs UGA’s offense to give them some touchdowns directly or indirectly. Kentucky also needs them to not hit any explosive scores, not get in the red zone often, and only score field goals when they do. Kentucky will likely not do a ton on offense but they need to avoid three and outs and string to get a few first downs to keep UGA backed up on offense and avoid gassing their own defense.

A trip to Atlanta is almost certainly on the line next Saturday for the winner of the UGA-UK game.

My keys for the Cats to grab the victory are:

1) Avoid any turnovers (obviously)
2) Establish the run early, and have a couple of long sustained drives each half, both to keep the defense rested and avoid putting too much of the game on Will Levis' shoulders. Look to end the game in the range of 200 yards rushing.
3) On defense, control the run enough without selling out, and force Georgia to throw the ball downfield often.

4. Go back in time about 6 years and set up rich boosters money to pay every 5 $tar your coach wants, and keep doing it (like Georgia has and as they learned from Alabama).
