Talking about getting to 10 wins being a big deal. Chris Childers & Rick Neuheisel agreed. From listening to LSU fans this week I'd come to believe winning 10 games was as simple as plug and play

10 wins is not what it used to be.

But you know that already.

Guess LSU has higher expectations. Nothing wrong with that. Just make sure you can get someone better to replace Miles. Not certain that will be the case.

I'd be ecstatic with 10 wins this season after seeing how it's gone.

Doubt we get there though.

Tell that to the 80% of teams who won't sniff 10 wins in any given year.

Right, so lets just keep him until he's run it completely into the ground!

Miles wouldn't be able to average 10 wins a season if you started counting forward from today. Nobody is discounting his accomplishments here. He's not the coach he used to be.

9 wins is beneath LSU.

thats good, I'm not worried about that 80 percent.

10 wins isn't the once glorious mark that it was in the 60s -90s

sorry we play more games and the schedule is much easier. They didn't play 3-4 rent a wins each year back then.

plus we aren't winning 10 games this year, and Les career average means as much as alabamas titles this season. That is jack fricking shite. Les having a nice overall record has no reflection on who he is right now as a coach. 13-10 vs the west is a much more accurate reflection. So either you are being purposely stupid because LSU keeping Les is worse for LSU, or you would make a complete arse clown of a business owner for not being able to see current trends.

Would Miles last 11 years just on 10 wins per year and finishing 3rd in the west a lot at Alabama?

Consistently making bowls and 3 west titles with Houston Nutt was beneath Arkansas

Miles is struggling in the SEC west. 4-7 the last 2 seasons.

How many million is that per win? Most overpaid coach in the country.

Paul Bryant lost 5 games in back to back years 169-1970. He would have probably been fired in today's environment. I really respect LSU as a program and understand their frustration with the predictability of their offense but it's a dicey business running off a coach who's had so much success and been such a good representative for LSU. Maybe y'all will hit a home run. Or maybe y'all will become the Tennessee of the SECW.

The juxtaposition of that statement means when you don't achieve 10 wins, you really suck.
