My only guess is they’re gonna give him a try until another candidate comes along. If it works out, great. Still don’t understand why this is better than Gus tho plus they have to pay the buyout

I think speak for all of us at the SEC Rant when I say, that would be a great hire.

I don’t believe it will happen , however, if it does it is just bc they wanted Gus gone that bad I guess Seems too weird to be true

They gave Gus 21M not to coach. How is this not believable?

Really? Come on..I was banned for multiple years, so that doesn't matter to me.

Just passing on what I'm being told by my boss, who goes to all the gatherings and would be considered a donor from the 1990's.

I graduated AU in 2011 and give yearly, but I'm no big time donor by any means.

Anyway, it doesn't mean it can't be stopped, but I'm very sure this is what they wish to pull off for some stupid reason.

We have emailed the Auburn AD with our thoughts on it and I suggest all AU's fans (graduate or not) do the same.

I've been down on Auburn football for a couple years, but I will be done, if they follow through with this hire.

I can remember the people melting when he was named LSU's DC. Although he did end up doing a decent job.

Hey, I love coach Steele, he's all class and a good DC, but not the future of the program.
