KD played in the natty last year. Not sure this is even close to being a comparison. But you Aubs keeping being Aubs. Gives me something to laugh at daily

Two are not even remotely comparable. This is far more akin to Alabama hiring Mike Shula. And even then Alabama was on probation and making a spring hire Mike Price was fired for his behavior.

This isn't even close. This is comparable to Bama hiring Dennis Franchione (and that was under pending sanctions).. Butch Davis was leaving the Canes for Bama until he got the truth about Bama's upcoming penalty.
Deboer just played for a natty. Pope has never sniffed Deboers level of success.

Sorry to say. But Tennessee went through this after Fulmer was relieved of his Coaching job.

Not really. That was a universally praised hire. He was as hot name after turning around a TCU program that had been down for decades. He just turned out to be a snake.

Ridiculous attempt at comparison :
ESPN Ranking of Top Coaches 2024
1. Kirby Smart, Georgia (100 points)
2. Kalen DeBoer, Alabama (62) Team played in National Champion Game
3. Kyle Whittingham, Utah (56)
4. Dabo Swinney, Clemson (50)
5. Mike Norvell, Florida State (49)
6. Dan Lanning, Oregon (37)
7. Steve Sarkisian, Texas (35)
8. Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss (29)
9. Lance Leipold, Kansas (28)
10. Ryan Day, Ohio State (27)
Hugh Freeze ?
Mark Pope ? Not to be found in CBS Sports top 25
Best Basketball Coaches , or any other ranking.
Has solid records at Utah Valley &
BYU....but let's be honest , trying to compare the DeBoer hire to
Moss crashes & burns before getting off the ground.
