Arkansas would have made the 3 and won the game.
That’s the same logic KY used on the LSU game. The game would have gone to OT and LSU would have continued their domination from the 2nd half.

Slapping the backboard, in and of itself, is still not goaltending. Pulling the rim can be, if it alters the shot. Neither are automatic goaltending calls.
