Ragland seems like 11 guys in 1. He's incredible.
Beckwith is awesome too though. He transformed LSU's D as soon as they started him mid-season last year. His effort in the Ole Miss victory last year was unbelievable.
I'd give the edge to Ragland, but both bring much to their units.

Both are great....Ragland is a beast 
Not even sure what game I was watching but it was an outside run and looked like it was going for good yardage until #19 blazed in and took the running back out. I didn't think he had that speed but he covered open ground and just ate that dude up....all I could say was damn!!!

Not only that but AU's defense is on the field about 5 minutes more than UA or LSU and most of their starters are still playing until the end of the game

Beckwith is like a healthy Curtis Lofton, but Ragland is like Cornelius Bennett. Ragland is just on another plane.

Tossup but LSU would be hurting in the middle without Beckwith, Bama without Ragland would problem survive that better.
