In all honesty, it's really not a fair question. Ragland is a SR.

It is a fair question. Beckwith is holding his own as a Junior and most likely won't even be here for his SR year.

It's not necessarily bad if your LB doesn't have a huge number of tackles....maybe your D-line is just playing better than most and not allowing backs to get to that level.

But yea, no doubt, Ragland is tops in the nation. Beckwith is good but nowhere near Ragland. Some LSU fans are being homers.

So Reggie is the 14th best LB in the country?

I don't think the talent really affects this game at all. It's the scheme that will provide most of the havoc, probably on LSU's side. But damn I can't wait to see Reuben/Ragland vs. Fournette. This game is getting hype AF.

Beckwith is very good. But, I believe Ragland is the best defensive player in the country.

Should be a good match-up - the best offensive player in the country vs. the best defensive player in the country.

Ragland worries me......

I know why, but I mean why? If there was any defensive player on Alabama I would worry about its Fitzpatrick or Jonathan Allen. Jonathan Allen is our best defensive player believe it or not.

Of those two, and I hate to admit it... Ragland. He's all over the place.

Did he play last year? I don't remember him. And honestly the only LSU game I have watched this year was UF and I honestly don't remember a debo. I'm Assuming this is his street name.

He mainly played behind Kwon Alexander last year, but played.

When Ragland and Fournette meet in the middle of a run, there will be seismic activity.

Reggie bro. Best LB in the SEC right now. The UT backer dominates too.

Coker will get sacked and be pressured some but so far, he hasn't been rattled. His bad play at times is more of a lack of physical talent, not nerves. They will lean on a run game while mixing in short/mid range passes. Saban is smart and undoubtedly learned some things from the WKU game. LSU struggled MIGHTILY with crossing routes.

LSU will lean on their run game as well and mix in big plays with the passing game. Harris throws a great deep ball. A lot of punting in this game for both teams. This is the game that LSU will miss their starting FB if he's still out.

17-14 LSU with them needing to stop Bama and hang on for the win.

BTW, Ridley is gonna be the most impactful player for BAMA. LSU can't cover him and he has mastered getting the ball on short routes and doing damage. That will ease MOST of the pressure off of Coker.

Ragland, but Beckwith (and Jones) are both really good as well.

It's Ragland all the way. I'm not sure we are functional without him.

One of my favorite plays of the Saban era came a few weeks ago and Reggie made it. Before the snap he was making an audible and giving it to the DL. He ended up on the other side of the DL when the ball was snapped. He instantly shot back into position and made the tackle in the hole.

Yeah, that kid is full of energy! I love his energy. Beckwith played like that last season, not so much this season. They are both about the same size, but Ragland gets after it. I love him! He will put you on your arse! Beckwith is a big hitter as well. But your guy is the man!

Ragland is a first round talent all the way. Beckwith, it depends on him. If he wants that money, he needs to show it and start playin like Ragland. Goodluck!
