You all know that I’m a DAWG hater (as I should be), so it pains me to say that I really like this kid. He had every chance to let that bad start yesterday derail the rest of the game, and he didn’t. Dude straightened his nuts and won the game.
Lebby is a great offensive mind, and finally has a QB who can thrive in his system. There won’t be any more easy wins against this bunch as long as Taylor the QB.
I also don’t think he’ll be shopping himself out after the season.
In conclusion, frick State, frick Lebby, and frick Dak.

Some of the advanced analytics have Mississippi State as a borderline top 10 team right now.

I don’t trust the advanced analytics much yet and for these teams in particular they haven’t played anyone other than South Carolina who is by no means a proven entity particularly without their top 15 edge rusher.
And I’ll say it again, as good as Taylor has been (195 rtg), Simmons is right behind him at 187. If they don’t have Stewart it could be an interesting day for their defense.

If they beat Alabama in a few weeks then I’ll start believing. I’m not sold on wins against ULM, Minnesota and South Carolina.

He is so fun to watch (as long as he is NOT playing YOUR team) - plus his family history and ties to MSU are pretty cool as well..
My son is at MSU and we are going to visit him and attend the game this Saturday night. I am looking forward to seeing Kamario in person

Mississippi State is the new last year's Vanderbilt. Glad they're not on our schedule, just like Vanderbilt last season.

its still early, but he did a great job settling down in a very hostile environment and then we just completely took the game over on both sides of the ball and put south carolina to sleep. i couldnt believe our defense played as well as they did after playing like 21 of the first 25 minutes of that game.

Also a little scary that Marcel Reed has had the 2 best games of his career vs a Blake Baker defense, lol.

Good luck. He’ll make 6 mil next year after NIL deals at State and his entire family is maroon. He was essentially mentored by Omar Conner, his uncle and former state QB.
Also, if I’m Lebby, I’m riding Kamario until he goes pro then leave for a bigger program.
