I liked the play where Mathieu got nailed then driven back about 10 yards when he tried to grab the punt after it bounced.
I liked how the ref refused to blow the whistle for forward progress and let bama keep driving him back.

He's a hell of a playmaker, but a good cornerback he is not. He's coverage skills are not good. Why he was voted All-American at cornerback is beyond me.

He/Y'all deserve every bit that you get. It hasn't been 48 hours since a walk-on took what he wanted from Mathieu.
If that makes you feel better I guess. He'll more than likely hold an NCAA turnover record by the end of next year. He's a playmaker that had a bad game. Get over it.

He actually got the benefit of the doubt. I thought Dre lost him a for a little bit and then Mathieu tried to gain more yards. He actually got a really good spot.

Good for him.
How many national championships does he have?

He's a career NB. Randal Gay won 3 Super Bowls with New England and 1 with the Saints being just that. He'll translate to someone's scheme in the NFL.

I was in the stands so I couldn't see it clearly but it looked to me the play was over and the ref's just let the bama players keep pushing him back when the play was clearly over.

Now you're just trolling. I'm out.

He's advertised as an All-American CB. JS.

I disagree. I think he's at least an adequate cover corner. He was in position to make plays. He's just too short to contend for a well thrown ball to a tall receiver. Norwood and Hanks are both probably 5-7 inches taller than Mathieu, and McCarron was putting the ball where only they could go up and get it.

Worst BCS loss and now the most undeserving Heisman finalist.
You know, Trent didn't put up the most impressive numbers against the powerhouse Kent State. Yes the offense was pathetic, but to say he is undeserving because of one game is crazy.

Not really an argument.

and it was advertised LSU was dominating the dome in attendance. TM is a great playmaker but an average corner who can be taken advantage of by bigger stronger receivers.

Same here. I was about even with where he caught maybe a little behind. I thought he got rid of Dre and then tried to make a move but the calvary was there.
Refs should've blown it quicker and they may have because it was pretty loud.

Gay is a lot bigger than TM. TM in coverage in the NFL will not end well. You're talking about premier athletes with premier size and abilities.
