I will never understand people who excuse poor play due to size/height disadvantages. Your physical build is a part of your ability and talent. It would be like Ware trucking over a 5'10'' 190 pound linebacker and saying "but he was in position to make the tackle, he was just at a size disadvantage."

Not really. All the heart in the world will not make up for his short stature in the NFL. AJ picked on him all night because he was short. If AJ can make those throws to Norwood, any NFL QB can when throwing to a guy like Calvin Johnson and 5'7'' TM7 is covering him. He's a great college player, but he has peaked out with the frame God gave him.

FWIW, I think he's a great player and he'll play in the NFL. He just got flat out embarrased on the biggest stage in college football. Bad enough that he and his fanbase that worshipped him deserve a little ribbing.

I don't think anyone on the defense got embarrassed. We played that side of the ball painfully well; that's what made it hurt so bad. We were still in striking distance well into the 4th quarter, in what was clearly a losing effort. I don't fault any of the defense on your QB's game, as he had one of those games where he was perfect.

As for us "worshipping" the kid, I think a lot has to do with him being to put up such unbelievable stats, while at the same time being so small. You have linebackers who might be 100 pounds heavier, with nowhere near the forced fumbles. He's like the Waterboy.

Classy. What a gracious winner you are. I think the game plan was to bottle up Mathieu, which you did. But that doesn't mean that the plays he made all during the season NEVER frickING HAPPENED !!!!!!

This is classic LSU. All this crap talking before the game and now they can't take it.

I've been gracious in other posts, but I'm not going to rib a little too.

Yo, ya'll won. Congrats. Stop nit fricking picking our players, asshat. Are you the crying guy from the first game, and need to really drive this home. Who else did ya'll own? Ya'll owned our coach too. By the color of the gatorade ya'll poured on Saban, looks like your mixing guy owned ours too. WTF.

Worst BCS loss and now the most undeserving Heisman finalist

Oh my God. What an idiot. To say that he is undeserving when he was clearly one of the top playmakers in college football is ridiculous. Don't y'all have your own board?

BTW.

LSU 9

Bama 4

D Hanks threw a good block on K Bells screen and Trent manhandled him on the blitz.

Then there was that arse-raping he took during that punt return.

Me too.

Why don't you Gumps go find another 17 year old without a Daddy and give his high school coach $100k

Hell...why not find another old fart of a coach to patronize the titty bars on the redneck riviera.

We get it Gumps, your team and program and State is the greatest. We get it!

FWIW, The whole LSU team got dominated that night. Don't pile on 1 player. TR was dominated in that game and did not get lose until late in the game when our D was flat worn out, that is the facts! 19/52 before the 34 yard TD run!

If TM7 sucks so bad, why are so many fans of the BCSNC team so obsessed with him?
