As others have pointed out. We are super young. Like hyper young. We should only get better as the year goes on.
Except on defense. We will get worse. Our not deep front 7 has been decimated by injuries. Now we are playing a whole gang of true freshman. The real issue is some arent ready to play as much as they are, and as the year wears on I expect bangs and bruises to slow us down.

So your first point was the young guys on offense will get better as they get more experience, but your second point was the young guys on defense will get worse?
The young guys on defense will get experience as well and should improve as the year goes on.
We still aren't even playing guys like Catalon/Bush who were highly recruited 4* guys. We'll be fine.

It looks like they are a different offense with Starkel at the helm. Boyd seems like an excellent RB and the WRs looked good. Do Arky fans think they can exceed 6-6 this year? I see a few upsets they pull this year
If you say so. Would one of the upset be LSU?

We played Bush. He recorded no stats. Catalon still has not played.
I am referring specifically to the young guys in the front 7. Soli already has a cast on, and will only get more banged up as the season goes on. Same for all of those guys who hit on almost every play. I expect the secondary to get better, but our young guys up front need a year in the weight room. Their bodies are not ready for the grind of this schedule just yet. I expect them to make a massive leap next year after taking some lumps this year.

It is not like Wyoming has been blowing their other competition out either. Mizzou lost to what appears to be a average group of five team. Laughing at the idea you could lose a road conference game is dumb.

Only a few mentally challenged ones
Our offense did look pretty good though. Knox and Burks are going to set some records here.

Last week was a good start even though it was only CSU, the team stepped up in the 4th.
I watched the game and it looked like Arkansas was looking for a way to lose the game. 4th qtr play be Arkansas was impressive, the QB came out and started throwing lasers to his receivers and you could see the momentum start to change. That pass and ultimate run by the tight end that broke about 8 tackles for a touchdown marked the arse whooping that ensued.
This team is getting better, if they continue to improve they have the chance to go bowling this year, we shall see.

Yes I do see that Arkansas have improved a lot. Maybe you need to see if the other team have also improved or not needed any improvement since, they were already pretty good. Missouri did improved from that first game. This weekend is going to be huge. But for some reason Missouri just cannot beat Carolina. I hope BO prove me wrong that he have turned the team around for good.

And our defense is better then it was last year.

Folks have gone into quite a bit of detail about our issues and our benefits moving forward.
Starkel gives us a puncher's chance. I am not saying that Peyton Manning is flaming dog poo compared to him, just that Starkel's particular skill set makes this offense go a lot better then the other QBs that have tried to run it for Arkansas.
That having been said this is probably going to need to be one of those old school Petrino shoot out offenses. Our defense has a ton of issues, mostly due to youth and they will cost us going forward. We tend to over pursue, miss tackles, and take horrible angles.
That having been said, when we have rolled the dice a bit we have managed to come up with some turn overs.
Playing Ole Miss in our second game was the worst thing, other then Starkel keeling over with an injury, that could have happened to us because we will get better and we needed to play them late in the year. I still think we win 5 games and knock off one SEC team this year but just miss on a bowl game.

Not saying it would have mattered in that game but neither of our QBs in that game is on the roster anymore and Boyd only got 5 carries dealing with an injury
