I think it is clear that the SEC refs will call the game in favor of the team that they think has the better chance of going to the national championship game.
Remember the Auburn RefGate game? That year Auburn was supposed to be the best in the SEC, so the refs wanted to be sure they didn't get tripped up on the way. Ironically, LSU might have gone to the NC without the stolen game...

Don't know if you're quoting someone else or not, but this doesn't make sense. Yes, the call was missing, but I could see how they missed it. Both teams were good that year and either had a legit shot.

It's been a while, so I've dealt with it I guess. I just remember sitting in the stands with an AU fan next to meet that said he thought it was PI. But their missed and given calls to UF this past week were BAD.

The absollute worst, almost crimminal calls I've ever seen were in the West Virginia v. Pitt game in 2007. It was so obvious there was no doubt about the thugery!

Was the same way against LSU. Penalties called virtually everytime LSU stopped Florida on third down and the obvious non call for offensive pass interference on the touchdown in the second half.

What extra yard, here's video evidence of how they made the first down.

Just one small problem, which becomes apparent if one looks closely at the pics.

What? That they weren't quite as full of shite, but still full of shite.

Good lesson. I suppose.

It seems like the media wants to suck off USC and Saban all the time.

I would be unbelieveably happy if the Bama game came down to a call by the refs.

I think that's equivalent to saying you hope we lose to Bama... so FU!

Does this mean LSU has no hope of not getting screwed by the refs against Alabama?

Nothing to worry about.

Last time LSU played at Alabama...

Bama - 2 penalties for 15 yards
LSU - 14 penalties for 130 yards
.

Stats - LSU at Bama (2007)

Thing is, LSU will have to play lights out just to make it a game, and they will probably get screwed by the refs at least three times during the contest, just because as mentioned earlier, the SEC wants a 1-2 SECCG with UF and Bama in it.

2 out of 3 hosts said the calls in the FL/ARK game were suspicious. "Seems that the SEC is pulling for Florida and Tebow."

Gee, ya think? They want Fla. vs. Texas or USC.
It gives them Tebow vs. C. McCoy, the ultimate Great White Hope QB match-up. And if not McCoy, they'll get a jump-start on Barkley's Heisman campaign for 2010...

Jeez; for the 50th time, nobody was given anything. The orange line graphic by CBS was wrong.

Those three plays are the ones that have been brought out. There were others! What about the 51 yrd field goal after the play clock had gone to 0. What about Tebow running for his life and no holding calls. Seems odd doesn't it....
