They actually mention quite a few things they did in the year between the two stories, and the Spring Sickness happens during that time as well.
Yeah, it's a great show, but there are definitely some cracks that could be an indication of future retarded choices the show might make. I'm still not happy about how they portrayed Lyonel and the fat whore cucking Raymun is annoying.

For me, it was Alysa Liu's short program. It scored only 3rd but was the prettiest song/skate combination of the event, made even better coming after a segment in which she stated that she didn't really care about winning. And then she won.
