And what's to stop kids from playing 6 years from now on, ala Chambliss? Or him getting a judge to grant a 7th year?

Either judges make the rules or the NCAA does.

People want to pick and choose around arbitrary lines. These kids are already professionals.

Does anyone in their right mind think some kid in the future isn't gonna leave because he thinks he'll be picked and is just tired of college. He goes, falls in the draft to UDFA or 7th round. Is cut just like these guys and then tries to come back for his fourth or fifth year

That should be an easy stop. As long as this is a ONE TIME deal, it should easily go back to the old rules. If you knowingly forgo future eligibility to enter the draft, your time as a college athlete is over in that sport.

It's like you mentioned, these didn't know they had another year when they entered the draft.

This has never been confirmed at all.

As you age lil Will, you'll learn the best thing to do to show you truly don't care is to not respond. Ahh, the ignorance of youth. Enjoy your fall little man. Those days of youth don't last forever.
