Some professional athletes will take steroids if they don't test and have rules for failed tests. Others won't.
Some will always push the loopholes as far as they will go. Others won't. I'm telling you that things will get worse because of coaches like Lane so we need something so we've got what the NFL has so courts can't touch this.
I guess we have different beliefs, I think all coaches will push loopholes if it gives them a chance to win. I think some coaches just have more or less of a risk tolerance for it.
Which coach do you think wouldn't push a loophole?

You have 5 years to play ball. If you do anything professionally, you will not be allowed back in college and that applies to every kid in the 2023 recruiting class going forward. The kids in the 2022 class were unjustly not grandfathered in. I self identify as a fricking moron and I saw this coming when it was announced. The NCAA and conference leaders are now using the coaches as the scapegoat to cover up their frick ups and a lot of people are buying it. It's hilarious.

Yes and no. This kind of sets up a 4 year player entering the draft, signing as an UDFA, getting cut, and returning to college for a 5th year

For now, but now subsequent players are going to point to the class of 2022 guys who did and be afforded the same treatment. They’ll file for a TRO, get it, and then we’ll be right back here

How though? The only reason the 2022 guys can do this is because they can say that they didn't know they had another year. The following classes won't be able to do that.

Can anyone even define what a professional athlete is? These kids who were in NFL camps made more money playing college football. That’s how arse backwards everything has become. Unlimited eligibility is coming eventually whether people want to accept it or not. College football simply started generating far, far too much money for all of this not to be inevitable

The positive is that the Covid class and I believe 2021(?) received 5 years anyway so a lot of the people who would look at coming back are probably 6 or 7 years removed from football shape.

The kids you are getting back now have played professional ball. They have done this after the eligibility rule went through. They could've immediately contacted schools and said I'm coming back. They didn't. They went forward with their NFL teams. So I'm not seeing why that can't and won't be done again.

Wrong. I've never been one of those on here boohooing abotu every change. This seems a step too far. You like because that pet dog you have is beautiful and attacking everyone else. That dog will bite you at some point though. Be ready.
