I’m seeing LSU fans say tua was given tds and then in the same breath criticize his completion pct despite many drops.

I said his performance was similar to last season. He did have some drops by his WRs too. However; uofarolltide and Cajunbama both are wanting to claim he was injured and that hindered his play. Seems like Bama fans are trying to have it both ways. You're saying he was dropping dimes which plays into the "he was not critically hurt" narrative and breaks the Bama excuse that's permeating the board.

I also have seen talk that he would have made more plays running, but his last 5 games his rushing totals are:
-5 LSU
-5 Tenn
-10 A&M
1 Ole Miss
8 USM

Strange. I don't see the drop off.

He was 3 weeks removed from high ankle surgery. I don’t understand this notion from LSU fans that it was impossible that he was injured. He was healthier than last year but obviously he was hampered a decent bit. Those throws he made in the game were still damn good. LSU’s offense is much better designed and allows for receivers to get open more consistently far better than what sark is. Tua was making plays a lot in spite of the play calling. The injury came into affect in terms of running for short yardage to make 1st downs. Which obviously was a big factor for LSU on the other end

Just want to get an alabama fan on record admitting with a quarterback playing at an ELITE level and throwing to the best receiving quartet in college football history, Alabama still couldn’t beat LSU...in Tuscaloosa

Well when you miss 25 tackles on defense and literally hold back that said offense with your play calling it is indeed possible to lose. Which no one is discrediting LSU’s win one here. It’s the fact that LSU fans seem to be dismissing his play as average when the dude was unstoppable down the stretch

I get it, nothing wrong with standing up for your quarterback. For the record I respect the hell out of Tua. You just gotta recognize the shite we’ve had to listen to for the past 8 years and now it’s our turn to give it.

I can’t tell you the amount of posts I’ve read over the past two weeks calling us dumb coonasses for believing LSU finally has an offense to hang with the crimson bastards. It’s all in good fun.

Did Tua look like this during the 2 LSU games?

Dude looks fine, but give LSU d some credit. They played pretty damn good considering the WR group they faced.

Yeah I understand it’s a good feeling. The only people I Have an issue with are the constant trollers that seem to have more enjoyment trying to make tua look bad than enjoying their own success.

LSU’s front 7 played extremely well. That was a bit surprising to me but they definitely showed up. Less touted dbs defintely outplayed Alabama’s ones (aka mayden and carter)

For the 25 missed tackles, that’s a huge credit to the determination of LSU’s offensive playmakers. That’s no fluke for a Saban coached defense to just “oops” missed 25 tackles. Those were broken tackles and dudes juked out of their tight pants.

I know the alabama defense was starting a lot of younger guys, but LSU had several true freshman playing in that game too.

Also, ignore the trolls. You’re giving them what they want.

Yeah LSU is obviously a great offensive team. But the tackling is a huge issue for bama. 22 is a great back but that last td just shouldn’t have happened like that. He just walked through 2 defenders like nothing. Bama gonna have to get much better in that area.

Delpit had at least 5 missed tackles. He was injured and didn't practice at all the 2 weeks leading up to Bama. Stingley fell when Devonta caught the final TD pass (85 yards)instead of holding him to a 30-40 yard catch. He also got caught looking at the sideline and gave up another long TD. Our gunner didn't break down on the punt return and allowed Bama back in the game. Missed tackles plagued both teams.

No. Bama is more balanced when they aren’t making mistakes and Tua is 100%.

He hit his post-game excuse right between the numbers though.

He threw for over 400 yards man. Wtf are you talking about? What was he supposed to do throw for 600? GTFO. This is getting ridiculous all of these excuses for bama getting their asses kicked at home.
