I thought the hiring of Ed Orgeron was a horrible hire as head coach based on his absolute failure at Ole Miss. He was 10-25 at Ole Miss 3-21 in the SEC so why hire him for LSU? Houston Nutt was a better coach in the SEC west.
The man is not a great coach!
After a 25-9 start his first 3 seasons at LSU there was not much to get excited about and then all the stars aligned last year. It was an anomaly.
Les Miles would not have a losing season with that talent. Les could have the worst starting QB in the whole conference and still manage an 8-4 season.

We’re all pretty much past the acceptance phase and on to the laugh at yourself phase. What’s a few more beat downs? At this point, we can’t resurrect our season, but we can spoil someone else’s. Looking at it that way, the only surprise would be positive.

Yes I think the team will play a game or two like they did vs South Carolina. It will be when they feel like it and everything just clicks though, not effort based.

I'm surprised they have won a single game with these disastrous classes. Clearly not much talent for the coaches to work with. 3 top 10 classes... 2 of them top 5 classes.
