Double-elimination is a hell of a lot of fun. It’s outdoors. The sun is shining. It just feels good.

Anyone, including mid-majors, has a shot. Rice, Cal State Fullerton, Fresno State and Coastal Carolina have won national titles this century.

And we’re closer to football season. Play ball.

It really is.

I watched maybe 5 minutes of March Madness.

I've watched almost 20 hours of baseball since Friday.

March Madness can be exciting, but it’s an awful representation of a program’s status, recruiting, etc.

Look no further than this year’s Final Four.

It just gets worse not even half a page in.

Summer heat and 88% humidity do things to Southeastern minds.

Agreed. But probably not for reasons some others have. College basketball is terribly officiated and horrible to watch.. that's about my only reason why. Even with SC being arse at basketball nothing quite tops March Madness period, in sports. Except the World Cup.

Baseball, IMO, has the underdog more dangerous than basketball. The calamity is terrific.

Just yesterday we had a 1 v 2 elimination in Auburn. Sucked for Aubie but it is great to rope fans in.

I just think the NIL and transfer rules have hurt college basketball more than any other sport.

Basketball is the one sport where a single player can impact your team the most.

Alabama, for example, is going to have almost an entirely different team next season.

Didn’t UGA literally have a new team from top to bottom?

Kansas needs basketball so badly that they gave their suspended coach, whose program was hit with Lack of Institutional Control, a lifetime contract

Ask this great nation if they prefer March Madness or the NCAA baseball tournament. Y’all are loop de loop.

Doesn't change the fact college basketball is an inferior product. There is no flow to a college basketball game 75% of the time.

One of the underrated things about baseball regionals is that every park you go to is unique and has character.

As opposed to the first few rounds of basketball where the NCAA decided to make all the courts look the same.

Small shite like that makes the first weekend of the baseball postseason more fun.

I've watched more baseball this weekend than I did the entire basketball season. 2 years in a row I've been to O'Brate just to watch the pokes choke as well lol.

I see the same style of complaints about umpiring here on a semi weekly basis as other sports and baseball also has challenges/reviews/delays.

Baseball games are the antithesis of flow.

It’s great but it’s #2 to basketball, imo.

It’s a shame football is boring as hell.
