Didn't see that coming, but with that atmosphere I can certainly understand it.

I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but leaning toward the latter. Seeing way too much chatter about the potential upset here, and all that does is put A&M on that much more alert.

Personally I do not see it. Even if it stays close, we can't count on our FG kicker to win us a game if needed.

It’s a Good bet. Road game. No other teams are undefeated in conference.

It could totally happen, however I am 10x more confident in an Elko team on the road vs. a Dumbo Fisher team.

The main thing that gives me confidence is that the run game and defense usually travel well, and A&M have both.

The main thing that gives me doubt is that anything can happen in the SEC this year. Who knows.

I don't see the upset part.

However, I do see the Cock gigging Aggie.

Good. The best chance for USC is for A&M to have a letdown and not take this game seriously. I don't see any way that happens at this point. Elko celebrated for about 5 minutes after LSU but immediately hammered his players in the locker room that they need to get their shite together and work their arse off this week if they expect to go from 5-0 to 6-0. The media has a lot of folks picking USC. So I don't see A&M coming out flat and thinking they can just roll into Columbia and get a W.

USC is very capable of winning but I don't see it without TO's and ST play combined with a flat A&M team. A&M is bigger and more talented than USC so if it is a straight up game with minimal errors that heavily favors them. I think A&M just runs it 80 percent and takes the strength of USC's D (those athletic rush Ends) out of the game and just uses the 50lb per man advantage on the Line and pounds the rock. I don't think USC has enough offense to get into a scoring fest either.

Night games in crazy environments though are always hard to predict, USC is going to be ready to play and fired up. Should be fun.

I could see it. Under Fisher we absolutely lose this game. Under Elko? Remains to be seen

I'd say this game has too many "trap game" characteristics for TAMU to overlook this game.

It is just too perfect:
Underdog had a bye
A&M coming off a big win
Night game on the road

I don't know. I know what OM did to USCe in Columbia. I know that it was a day game, but the HOME team only put up 3 points. This one could go either way, but SC is hard to figure (or gamble on).

Possible trap game. A week to prepare for Reed. Aggie players possibly still on a high from all the pats on the back they’re getting for beating LSU. Hopefully they are having focused practices.

Pate also picked LSU to upset A&M. He could very well be right about this one.

I do too...

Sellers has wheels and the USCe D is going to get Reed in trouble for a couple of turnovers

Pate has a soft spot for SC, and has for a while.

SC will be unable to keep this remotely close. aTm is just simply better at every position, and every coaching spot.
