One of the best to play at Texas in the McCoy era. Sounds like some kind of ranch accident. Perhaps a controlled burn incident - reports coming in also mention a skid steer being used. 20% of his body has third degree burns. He is in critical, but stable condition. He is intubated until tomorrow. The initial findings came back more positive than they had anticipated. Still, a long road ahead for him. Prayers needed for the Shipley family. And a great family it is.

Hook ‘em.

Did you know, not only was he Colt McCoy's favorite receiver, he was also his roommate?

Jordan is such a good guy, hated to hear this happened to him. I know all too well how easily this can happen…

I don't expect a lot of decency and graciousness from this board, but agree 100%. One of my favorite WR's ever.

It’s been dry in that part of the world and the winds can whip up fast. These things can get out of hand quickly.

Nobody knows how Jordan's accident happened because he's unconscious but the picture I was posted was from pushing brush into the burn pile and got stuck. Couldn't get it out so had to bail

I’m an LSU fan so I know what most of yall think of us…..but if anyone can’t set college football aside for one minute and offer a prayer for this fellow then they truly are trash. Severe burns are about the worst pain there is. I truly pray for him and hope for the best recovery possible.

Those front door skid steers can be death traps, my son had his catch on fire. Luckily it burned the main hydraulic line which made the brush cutter go to the ground so he could open the door, scared the shite out of him though. I rented a new JCB a couple months back and it had arm on one side so you had a door on the driver's side like a excavator, felt much safer. Also, how the hell is Shipley 40 years old? Seems crazy, prayers to him, going to be long recovery.
